During the days of Cathode Ray Tube Televisions (CRT) the bigger the screen size, the worse the picture looked. The lower resolution caused graininess as screen size was increased. Today, the opposite is true. With the emergency of high definition, ultra-high definition, and 4K resolution, larger screens are able to take advantage of all available pixels and look equal to, or in many cased, better than smaller screens of the past. Choosing screen size is more about sizing the screen to the room size and available wall space. In this case, bigger is better.
